The Experience

We need a handyman/woman to help us with minor fixes and paint jobs. Repais and fixes have to occour during weekdays in the afternoons, so it is still possible to sleep in and have fun at night. You have to have a minimum idea of how to do simple repairs and paintjobs. For most part it is maintainance on an everyday basis. Weekends off!

I felt very welcomed as soon as I arrived at the Walk on the beach Hostel. There is a real sens of family there! After a few weeks I was feeling like home. The work was very easy and we were free to organize ourselves like we wanted which was great. I felt like the owners trusted us and our work. I met some incredible people and ended up finding it hard to leave!
Thank you very much for the experience and all the best to Walk on the beach family ;)

We had a great time at Walk in the Beach Hostel. The work was fair and we had plenty of time for fun. The host is super chilled, friendly & made us feel at home.
We made friends for life at this hostel & would definitely consider visiting again in the future!!
Thank you Walk on the Beach family :-)

I had a very good stay of 1,5 month, especially because of the good atmosphere and great group of employees and volunteers.

My staying at walk was just great . I worked at the bar and the working time was perfect to do many things during the day and also at night . The hostel is very well situated and very close to the beach . I met amazing people there (that was the greatest off all) and made new friends . Guys in the staff became a big family . Super nice energy and a lot of fun . I truly recommend it .

First experience on worldpackers and I really liked the atmosphere with the staff. Training was not too hard and the people were fun!
I stayed for two weeks and really liked the bar job. During the day I had enough time to enjoy Rio and I would recommend the job in the evening for people who like to socialize a lot.
