The hostel is perfect to learn Spanish, Portuguese and English since the owners speak all 3 languages and there’s lots of international people around. Pedro and Eli are amazing and make you feel at home. It’s super close to the beach and by bike only 10min to Peniche. Can only recommend!!! ❤️

Pinneaple surf house was our best way to start as volunteers. We met Eli the first days and she is an incredible person. Anyways we spent the most of the days with Pedro, who is also a wonderfull person. We are very thankfull with him for the way that he treated us. He was always very communicative and friendly. So thanks for all and i hope we can meet again in the future.

Although it was a quick experience, it was really amazing! Peniche is an incredible city, and Pineaple Hostel is awesome :) ! It very close to the beach, which I loved!
It was great we can use the bikes at the hostel, so it is easy to get around and get to know better the region.
The work at hostel was not hard at all, and I had time to do some turism too. Pedro was simply the best !

Strongly recommended :) !

It was my first volunteering experience and I had a very nice time at Pineapple! My communication with Pedro was great and he was very flexible. Eli, the hostel co-owner made me feel very comfortable and treated us volunteers like friends. She was super nice to often take us to the city by car for groceries etc as the village was 15 min by bike. The shifts were very few hours per day and the tasks very simple and easy. The hostel is located max 10 min by feet from the beach and in general you can use the bikes very often to explore around.
