We are looking for volunteers to teach us marketing strategies to publicize our sea turtle conservation project, as well as raise awareness through social networks of the negative human impact on the environment.

I had a wonderful experience with ACOTPRO! Everthying was as expected, the hosts were very friendly and helped with anything you might need. Releasing the turtles was a unique expierence, but learning about turtles has also been very interesting and helped to better understand the importance of protecting the sea/sea turtles and raising awareness towards nature. Although the weather wasn't the best, spending time with the other volunteers has led to many beautiful memories and friendships. As a small advice, knowing Spanish helps you a lot to communicate with the host and the local people :)

The experience at ACOTPRO was very nice. You could learn a lot, especially about the turtles, and you got a better understanding of the importance of nature in Costa Rica. In addition, the other volunteers were very friendly and we had a lot of fun, even if the weather was sometimes not so good. The proximity to the beach and the seclusion of the property also made the stay a special experience. The hosts Alba and Manuel were also very nice and always helpful. All in all, a wonderful time in Drake.

Manuel and Alba are incredible hosts who make you feel welcome from the first moment. They shared so much knowledge on turtles and we had the opportunity to get involved with projects around the camp.

I only stayed at ACOTPRO for ten days but it was incredible! In those ten days we were able to release two nests of turtles! While that was incredible I also learned so much about the turtles and that had a huge impact on me. The yard work was fun and not strenuous. Alba and Manual are incredible hosts! They were so welcoming and kind and I had a great time getting to know them. The people I met here were so fun and the place was beautiful!
