Mahahual as a destination is great, nice beach and weather , but Blue Kay needs to step up, and get structure , control and leadership on the right side.

My time st the Bluekay was very good. Even though I wanted to work as a gardener, I did of lot of other stuff, so it never got boring. In the end I was working on the computer setting up a new website (I also do that professionally)! And the best part was the daily schedule (7-9 and 10-14) which leaves plenty of time to enjoy the beach, go snorkeling, have a cold beer, etc. - together with a lot of other awesome volunteers from all around the world. We eventually became a big family (and I was lucky to spend Christmas and New Year's Eve there). But the food was not sufficient for most people.

Just in front of the best beach in the small eco touristic town of Mahahual, perfect location that offers privacy and contact with nature. Located south east of Mexico in the Caribbean coast, 100 meters south from the lighthouse. The area offers ecological and aquatic activities, scuba diving, snorkeling, kite surfing, kayaking, crocodile and migratory bird watching, temazal ritual, massages, yoga, and the famous Chinchorro national park tour....
