The 18-day immersion experience with Paula and her children was amazing and reminded me of home a little. The tasks were easy to complete, the food was well provided and I was able to have a good relationship with her family and friends. The only thing I would recommend improving is the volunteer facilities, which are not well maintained, especially the bathroom that cannot be used, so she let us use her bathroom instead :) Overall I recommend this volunteer, it was a pleasure to be with you, thanks for everything.

I loved my experience working with Paula and her family, it's such a special place. They are very welcoming and accommodating, they make you feel like part of the family. The farm is beautiful and the work is fair. I mainly fed the animals in the mornings and tended to the gardens. They have a beautiful pool to dip into when the afternoons become very hot. I would definitely recommend experiencing this beautiful place ❤️

The house is surrounded by a foresty and hilly area which is beautiful. The tasks were mixed, taking care of the vegetable garden and the chickens & ducks, it was fun. But helping build a house was our favorite! We learned a lot about more sustainable living which was great as well! The kitchen was a bit small for 4 volunteers we think and the communication and organization could have been better. It is a nice place, if you want to have a real ecological farm experience and improve your Spanish.

Paula and her family live in an unique place that you can relax in nature and have a pleasant routine with the animals. We had a good time with the volunteers that collaborate together. You should come with humility and willingness, you will be the student and then the master to transmission. You are autonomous by day, and by night, Paula is here to share good moments and technical knowledge about subjects. Even in the cold of this end of winter, we find some activities such as Salsa Cuban night, delicious meals, a day in the beach, or as karaoke. Having a geek culture helps with the kids !!

This experience was truly transformative for me! I loved being able to work with the animals and plants in the farm. Not to mention that it is located in a stunning landscape, surrounded by mountains. Paula was very responsive and welcoming which was super great, having it been my first volunteer experience. Unfortunately she was gone on vacation for a lot of stay so I didn't really get to know her that well. The sleeping quarters were also a little disappointing, it is not insulated therefore the temperature fluctuates a ton. Otherwise, I enjoyed my time here. Thanks so much Paula.

Gracias por tu estadía y que bueno que pudiste sentir la fuerza de nuestras montañas, también lamento que compartimos poco, pero espero que puedas regresar y conocer este lugar en invierno, es más frío, pero más verde... en chile el frío es fuerte, ¡pero no con nieve, entonces los chilenos no somos tan expertos en aislar bien las casas, estamos trabajando en mejorar la casita de voluntarios, cada día mejora más... te mandamos un gran abrazo y que sigas viajando, conociendo y teniendo nuevas experiencias! abrazos...

My experience at Paula's place was an amazing. They hospitality made me feel right at home and I felt I am part of family-not as a volunteer. Tasks are very simple and the hours flexible. Paula is a kind and very generous host.Any questions at all you may have, Paula right there to help.I learned many useful things for me from Paula and at her place. Paula is an amazing person! On her house i could experience nature care, animal care and the impact and importance of the environment! Paula herself is an amazing host, so lovely, talkative and caring. For sure i want to return here to see her again!

Ir para o sítio foi uma experiência incrível! Paula nos fez sentir em casa desde o primeiro dia. O lugar é grande, com muito a fazer, mas sem pressa. Aprenda sobre o meio ambiente no seu ritmo e divirta-se! No verão, trabalhávamos em dois turnos: começávamos às 7h cuidando dos animais e das plantas, fazíamos uma pausa para o café e retomávamos com uma tarefa específica até as 13h. No fim da tarde, voltávamos para mais cuidados com os animais e plantas. Algumas tarefas eram complexas, mas Paula é paciente e ensina muito bem. Guardarei ótimas memórias desse voluntariado. Gracias por tudo!

O tempo que passei no sítio foi sensacional, com muita diversão e aprendizado. A Paula é uma pessoa incrível, muito inteligente, vou sentir falta das conversas cheias de risadas e ensinamentos, onde ela mostrava sua visão de mundo (uma visão, no mínimo, especial). Às vezes as coisas ficam meio caóticas em relação às tarefas, mas a Paula é super tranquila e compreensível, não tenha medo de perguntar e de seguir no seu ritmo. A maior parte das tarefas é simples, as mais complicadas a Paula sempre mostra antes como fazer. Fiz novos amigos e aprendi um milhão de coisas novas, recomendo demais.
