Housekeeping on a Regenerative Farm in the Hawaiian Rainforest
The experience
Help with housekeeping and childcare (dishes, laundry, cleaning), and enjoy a private room, shared spaces, family-style dinners, and breakfast/lunch staples. Learn sustainable farming, assist with Mamaki harvesting (with pay), and care for chickens and bees. Explore nearby black sand beaches, Volcano National Park, and more. Minimum stay: 1 month. Ideal for independent, detail-oriented, eco-minded individuals ready for community living!
What you offer
16 hours of help per week
Pet Sitting:
Taking care of and looking after pets.
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Housekeeping:
Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
What you get
3 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Fast Internet Access:
High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Activities & Shift
Monday-Thursday 8am to noon
Morning chores: feeding chickens, caring for pets
Basic housekeeping: reset the kitchen after breakfast, laundry, dusting, wiping surfaces, vacuuming
Childcare: playing with our 2-year-old so mom can focus on homeschool with the 7-year-old or take work meetings and calls
Rules
Please no smoking or use of any substances. Alcohol in moderation. Quiet hours begin at 8pm so the children can get to bed (keep music or other devices to a more quiet level).
