The Exchange

We strive to inspire each visitor to relax, enjoy and explore ways in which they can incorporate the concept of sustainability into their own lives. We offer a Community Program that includes Arts, Music and soccer trainning to children and youth of El Castillo, as well as English teaching for adults. So, volunteers with these skills can take part on this program.


Title

36 hours of help per week

Teaching Sports: Organize and teach different sports and activities.

Arts: Professional painting, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help the local community.

Teaching Languages: Give language lessons to guests or local community.


What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: Be ready to meet people while staying in a shared dorm.

Breakfast: Get your free breakfast, the most important meal of the day.

Intermediate Spanish

Over 23 years old

Be from outside Costa Rica

Activities & Shift

6 hours a day - flexible


Rules

No smoking or drinking is allowed in the dorms area.
Excess of alcohol or drug using is a reason of dismissal of the program.
This program is a 4 week commitment. If a person decides to leave earlier, there will be a charge starting from $35 to $15 per night.
