Housekeeping and Reception Work in Paradise
We're looking for staff to help out at our busy lodge with house keeping and some receptionist duties for the peak season here in beautiful Kaiteriteri. We ask for a minimum of 15 hours per week of housekeeping and if needed front of house - this covers the cost of your accommodation (meals are not included) and there is the possibility of additional hours where they are available. We require all staff travelling from outside of New Zealand to possess a current New Zealand Working Holiday Visa, and due to training taking 2 weeks, we prefer to accept travelers who can stay here for a month or more.
Activities & Shift
The lodge is cleaned between 10 am and 3 pm daily, and due to the time constraints it is crucial that thorough cleaning of rooms and communal areas such as kitchens and bathrooms is performed in a timely manner. We work as a team and therefore it is important that you can work well with others and be fluent in English.
As all seasonal staff are living onsite, it is very important that you are respectful of others during your stay. This means - limited noise after 10pm (if you wish to drink or listen to loud music, head down to the beach), ensuring your space is kept tidy and neat and you are well groomed (it can get very hot here in summer, deodorant is a must please!). All in all, we aim to make this as pleasant experience as we can for everyone staying with us so please look after yourself and others!
