The hours for volunteering were reasonable. I was able to transfer from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay for teaching options. This was great. There was some disorganization, but you just got to make sure to ask lots of questions, so that you aren't left in the dark. Accommodations were as expected. Lunch and Dinner were provided, so that was super awesome. As long as you are flexible you will enjoy the experience.
Overall, I learned a lot. Trang was a really helpful and delightful staff. Thanks to her, I was able to explore Vietnam more than I expected. However, the flat I stayed at had a serious problem with water-clogging which was not the most pleasant experience to have in such a tropical country like Vietnam.
Further, I was a little bit shocked to see staff's poor English fluency.
I had an awesome and memorable time with CVTD. I got to meet many great people from all over the world. Taking care of children with disability in Phuc tue was fun and fulfilling. They make sure we have the basic "must knows" about and "must dos" in the Hanoi and North Vietnam. We were given enough time to explore the city. They even organized a trip for us to Sapa.
