Mafalda, Gonzalo and Eli where great hosts, always kind and willing to help.
The hostel couldn't be in a better placement in Lisbon, allowed me to discover this lovely city.
All the people I met in the hostel will have a place in my heart. ✌🏻😊

This was my first worldpackers experience and I must say I am pretty satisfied with it. The hostel is very cosy, and the staff are incredibly friendly, sometimes even baking a cake for everybody. The general atmosphere was good, ee often had meals together eith other volunteers etv. The working hours are also very fair, between 18-24h, depending on the shifts.

Only possible downside is that they work with large groups mainly, so if you are looking to meet solo travellers etc.it might be harder to do so...

As my first volunteer trip with Worldpackers, this was a great experience. The hostel is amazing and not far from everything central, the managers are sweet and the hours and work are fair. If you want something lenient, you'll love it here.

Just a couple of things to note: The team dorm is not in the pictures, you will be staying in an attic that is truthfully unkempt. If you are looking for a lively culture, this is not it. Mostly families stay here and they keep to themselves.

This hostel has great potential, I would love to see them create events and cater to young travelers!

I spent a month in Back to Lisbon and overall I had a good time. The hostel is big, with comfortable common areas. It's well located with markets, cafes and shops close by, and at a 20min walk from the main city streets. The tasks were simple and the hours fair and respected. There is plenty of free time to explore Lisbon or even going on trips.
The only downside was that the accommodation it's on a 6-bed staff room separate from the guest dorms, (not shown in the photos) and it needs improvements. Also, the hostel doesn't host many guests during winter so you can't really meet many people.

Thanks Tania...see you around ;)

I really enjoyed my time here! Shifts hours and work are all alright. Location is also good - 15 min walking distance from Bairro Alto and a fast ride to Cais do Sodre. Continente and convenience stores near by. Thanks to Gonçalo, Mafalda and Kamila for such an experience!!!
