The Exchange

We have several programs working with my friend in this program - a caring organization. We do some projects about the nature friendly residential development (friendly house), recycling waste, organic farming, art activites and also teaching English for students or local children. I hope there are some volunteers who come to help us in this project!


What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Handyman: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.


Requirements

Fluent English

Between 25 and 50 years old

Accepts solo applications and also couples and pairs

Program Details

I live in Palopo, in South Sulawesi, Indonesia

We operate in a stronghold of traditional culture. If you have desire to experience something unique and traditional,in exchange for English instruction to young students, read on.

There are many places of interest for travelers in this area. We can bring volunteers to special pleace in the mountains, look Toraja and look their unique Culture and scenery, art centers, beaches and many things


Activities & Shift

Requirements of Volunteers:
Volunteers should be adventurous, have a sense of fun, a love of teaching, a willingness to share knowledge of English and their culture.Volunteers should realize accommodation is basic.

We need native English speakers to assist our junior and senior high school students learning English.
What we expect:

-5 days teaching( can be negotiated)
-a minimum of one weeks at our center.

Do not wear too open clothes in public places
