5 Elements Hostel Leipzig

If you want to really experience Leipzig, our Hostel is the right place for you. Clubs and Bars are really close to us and our staff can show you all of the hidden treasures our City has to offer. We are famous for our Zoo and we have loads of beautiful and swimmable lakes around the city! We have tons of festivals in our area starting with our famous Wave Gotik Meet up, and the huge Christmas Market.

Our Staff is like a really big and weird family. We welcome everyone and all of us are excited to meet new people. We all come from different backgrounds, so don't be shy :). If you should ever have a problem, you can come to us at any time!

Hannah and Tanja are the best managers ever! Shifts are simple and the times are very flexible most of the time. Other volunteers are al so amazing so the whole experience is a 10/10!

Volunteering in Leipzig was an interesting experience. The apartment was pretty nice, and there were some days off to travel. At times the work did feel unevenly distributed and if you’re a couple it may be hard to get your days off together. But the bar was great with the discount and the people were nice.

My volunteer experience at 5 elements Hostel was truly unforgettable, and I owe a big part of that to the amazing managers—Hanna, Tanja, Rachele, and Viola. Each one of them brought something special to the team. I'm incredibly grateful for their guidance and for the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful team. It was an enriching experience I’ll always remember.

Working at the 5EH was my first volunteering experience abroad and it set the bar high for my next experiences. Firstly, the city of Leipzig feels smaller than most major cities in Germany, so it was a great opportunity to practice German. The hostel is conveniently located at the very heart of the city; and the volunteers dorm at the hostel is huge and super comfortable.
I truly believe the best part were the people. The 5EH felt like a big family. I created lifelong friendships with other volunteers and all the housekeepers and staff were super nice! H, T & R are the best managers
