You should experience our campsite, we have a lake at 1km and the nearest beach is 3kms away. There are many fabulous and clean beaches around this region. During Summer, we need more help since the camping is full usually. In the other seasons, the weather is gentle. We also do farming.
I am Andrea and my wife Raffaella have 2 kids Maila and Mathias. We live in the campsite and we do provide tents and wooden rooms for the volunteers. Voluntees can use the bicycles as well.

I had the chance to live in Otranto at the beginning of spring, and I can say that I had a beautiful experience. I think it depends a lot on the process that each one is going through, but the campeggio Darwin, the nature that surrounds it, the beaches, Andrea and his permanent smile, Rafa and his warmth, the cats, the dogs, everything you find in Darwin is going to feed the fire that you need to light. The tasks we carried out were related to the maintenance and tuning of the camp, things that I had never done before and that I take with me as an experience. I absolutely recommend

Sexond time in agricampeggio Darwin, and it was perfect again. The tasks are not dificult and Andrea is easygoing and pacient to teach and explain what to do. You wil have a lot of time to go to the sea, to have fun and relax a lot in the fabulous camping. I recomend it a lot for everyone who wants to take a time in the nature and relax a litte bit. Thank you Andrea!!

This place is one of most interesting environment that anyone can experience. Andrea and his lovely family create such a friendly atmosphere for everyone and since the first day you feel at home. The work is simple and so fun that makes everything even better. The whole place is beautiful and unique and you can have an enjoying and relaxing time over there. Let's not forget about all the beautiful beaches and nature that covers Salento. I am super happy that I lived there for a short time that happened to be one of my loveliest memory. Go there and find out yourself! Highly recommended ;)

I felt tremendously at home with Andrea and his family and made very good friends with other Worldpackers. I must say that the first days I had to get used to the rhythm of southern Italy. But after a while it became easier. The surroundings are fantastic!
Speaking Italian is not a must, but if you have the opportunity try to lay a foundation that makes it a lot easier.
Andrea is very friendly and open and is willing to help you with whatever you need.
Are you ready to let go, be open, relax, but also develop yourself? Then you should go!

A minha experiência no Agricampeggio Darwin foi fascinante. ANDREA È UN GRANDEEEE! Con lui e con la sua famiglia ho imparato tanto. Sono degli brave persone, solari e generose. Darwin è un progetto ben riuscito, un luogo rilassante, organico, fluido. Ha una aura di rispetto e libertà. È un ambiente anche divertente, ridevamo e scherzavamo mentre lavoravamo. Mi ha fatto piacere aiutare Andrea e Marcella e fare parte di Darwin per questo mese che sono rimasta. Super raccomando alla gente tranquilla, di mente e cuore aperti, a quelle che le piacciono vivere in comunità. Auguri DARWIN!
