Agriturismo Pereti

Our farm, called AGRITURISMO PERETI is ideal for people looking for a change and wanting to immerse in nature. Tuscany is known for its countryside, and we are fortunate to live in such an unspoiled environment. We built alternative structures on our property, and some maybe be open to our volunteers to stay there.

We are an easy going family with two children, one dog, one cat, and 30 or so chickens. Our setting is very very rural and far from the city buzz. If you are a city boy/girl, you will not find the comfort of the city life. The closest village is 5 K away. The closest big city 30 K away. The closest village is 5 K away.

We are a bit different. We like yoga, meditation, walks in nature, biking (mostly Gaia and the kids). We enjoy socializing, but we also cherish (and respect) quiet time and privacy. Both for ourselves and for others.

Our volunteers are not professionals, so we understand that there will be learning curve to understand all the tasks. Our volunteers are treated with kindness and respect. We understand that this is not a paid position. We love meeting young people who are full of enthusiasm, eagerness to learn new things and making new, perhaps life lasting connections.

Gaia and the whole family are very kind, understanding and wonderful. They live in such a beautiful place in connection with nature and the local culture. Me and the other volunteers stayed in a cute trailer. We mostly helped with picking olives which was so much fun and required a lot of team effort. We also helped with cleaning the rooms for guests, taking care of the chickens and general gardening. Every task was explained very well and checked when finished, I felt that my work was appreciated. Communication was easy and hours were flexible. I highly recommend this experience!

Thanks for giving me a second home and family.🥰

I had an awesome stay at Agriturismo Pereti, the family is really welcoming and treat you as one of them. They always there is you need anything and when I injured my feet they helped me, gave me bandages and similar to help me heal.
Gaia also took us to a natural spring and offered to drive us to town nearby to explore!
Gaia is really flexible with the work hours. I did a lot of different work, olive harvesting (so cool and interesting to learn everything about that), gardening, painting, cleaning, cooking, playing with Elena and Adam! 🩷

The whole Pereti family is very welcoming and kind. They were always making sure that us volunteers had everything we needed and felt comfortable. They gave us clear instructions and were patient and understanding. The agriturismo is in a very beautiful spot and the hosts put a lot of care and creativity into their work to maintain the property. I enjoyed my stay a lot, I learnt a couple of new skills, one among them is how to take care of ducks and chickens, which was very wholesome! Agriturismo Pereti is perfect for people who like to be close to nature and are ready to get inspired by it.

My stay at Agriturismo was my first experience with Worldpackers. I enjoyed it and would do it again.
Gaia and Marketa are very kind hosts, working hours are respected and mistakes or misunderstandings are handled fairly. The work was always manageable and mostly explained very well. We were asked to watch our working hours ourselves which worked very well for me. Gaia also always tried to make sure that we are comfortable with the work and I felt appreciated. :)
Some of the tasks I did included painting, preparing breakfast tables for the guests, gardening, feeding the chickens and ducks,...

My experience in Pereti was great, I enjoyed all the time and I was really close to the culture and the enviroment. The heat wasn't the best for me at the begining hahaha but I did my best and the connections I did there I will always have them in my heart. Gaia and his family are good people and so sweet!
