Animal shelter Friends

Volunteers can have a lot of new expiriense, hanging with dogs, learn new things, be part of our team that are saving a lot of poor animals from our area and be part of our mission to be The voice for the voiceless.

We have minimum 10 workers and workers will help with everything. We are organise all work, we buy food, pick up new volunteers from bus or train. We dont have much time for company because we are very busy to have all in order but I think that everybody will feel good with us.

I absolutely love this sanctuary, it is my second time volunteering. Everyone at the shelter is extremely committed to helping the dogs. This time my shifts were mainly 2pm-7pm, started the day giving all the dogs water, followed by walking some dogs, then working in the quarantine feeding the puppies and cleaning up everyone's cages and giving them new blankets. It felt very rewarding working with the quarantine dogs. There is unlimited dog hugs and kisses which makes the work worth it! I would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves dogs to volunteer here.

It was really a great experience! A lot of hard work but we were aware of it before and a lot of opportunities to connect with so many dogs 😍
The shelter really needs some help so if you want to make a difference, go for this opportunity !

I really enjoyed my time at the rescue. The team is really doing a great job helping the dogs and they really care about all of them. I felt very welcome as a volunteer and my hours were very respected. The accommodation has everything I needed for my two week stay. (Air fryer, Microwave, kettle, stove top, fridge, griddle) and WiFi and heat and AC. I love the dogs and miss them already. I would volunteer again.

Our stay here has been amazing! Everyone is very welcoming and you can tell they genuinely care about the work they do. The dogs get so much love and attention, it has been heartwarming to work with people so caring and there was always someone available during our shifts to help with anything. The accomodation is great, the kitchen is well-equipped and the living space had everything we needed. The work was fun and we genuinely felt like we made a difference in the dogs lives, it has been a very positive and healing place to stay. We would 100% recommend the experience here!
