Aprendí muchísimo sobre administración en general, al igual que diferentes herramientas que me ayudarán a futuro. Mi inglés mejoro súper rápido, aún sigo aprendiendo pero fue como tomar un curso acelerado.
El equipo de trabajo es grandioso, me llevo muchos amigos nuevos en mi corazón.
Tienen una gatita Artemisa que es una hermosa 🥰

La experiencia fue buena en general , el Hostel es bastante tranquilo(o al menos en mi periodo ) las tareas se pueden ejecutar bien , el desayuno y lo acordado con el anfitrión se cumple . Quizá mi única sugerencia es trabajar la comunicación con el Staff, por lo demás muy agradecido con la experiencia.

I had a great experience in hostel Arcadia. I had great cooperation with owner and coworkers. Also, like a voulonter I had discounts on different activities (tours, paragliding, pub crawls), I had great opportunity for practicing Spanish. My work time at reception gave me opportunity to meet a lot people, and also I'm learned a lot new skills. Thank you for everything Arcadia team

Considering that my filtr is pretty strict Sanja was truly amazing!She was one of the best volunteers or even workers i ever had, her work ethic and enthusiasm is incomparable..a true talent, perfect contact with the guests and service, puntual, giving the best on her on any aspect. Descomplicada, responsible just do anything she was assign to..For this she was so good that i offer her work with payment that she accepted so it was worth it any penny.I only wish she could stay more..She has more of an admin perfil si exceeded any possible expectation i could ever have true motivated for turism lucky whoever can have her!You a true gold Sanja Thank you So Much for Everything!!I really wish you come next year my best wishes for you!

Medellin is an incredible city and the area where the arcadia hostel is located is the best in the city, it has many party places nearby and you can meet many people.
The job at Arcadia is simple, and the tasks as a receptionist are not complex. Spyros the owner of the hostel is a cheerful person however he likes to have control in all aspects of the hostel so he can be considered strict, however if you have everything in order you will not have any problems. I hope the volunteer schedules have better consistency, because in my understaffing stay, I had to make various changes to my schedule
