A very small intimate hostel where you can easily meet all the guests not only at our hostel but instantly become a part of our small town community. Mingle with artists, musicians, and world travelers.

Robert and Lucy own and operate two hostels. One in Clarksdale and one in New Orleans. Their New Orleans hostel has won the Hoscar for Best Hostel in the US. Volunteer at both.

Rob and Lucy are the kindest, most open, welcoming and caring and funny people in the world. I am so grateful to have spent a month with you.
I had the time of my life, a huge thank you for your warm welcome at the hostel and within your family and of course for the unforgettable memories.
The hostel is great, beautifully decorated and is truly a heaven of peace. Clarksdale is such a warm and welcoming town, I really felt home. I can only recommend to anyone to go to Clarksdale, Mississippi and volunteer at the Auberge Hostel!

Rob and Lucy were great to stay with and made me feel very welcome. The work was easy and their hostel is very homey. Clarksdale is a small town in the Delta of Mississippi, with a lot of history relating to blues music. As someone who hadn’t listened to much blues before I enjoyed the local music scene.

If you are looking for a genuine American countryside experience, with the friendliest people you will ever meet, go to Clarksdale, MS.
I just had the most amazing time while I was there.
Lucy and Robert will welcome you in their beautiful hostel as a member of their family from day 1, and you will soon be part of the entire downtown community. The work is cool and the schedule is flexible. It is a small town with a real laid-back vibe, where you can meet people from all around the world, and listen to live music every night.
Overall, it is a worldpackers experience I strongly recommend!!

I found my time in Clarksdale to be very eventful. Robert is an excellent host and the hostel is absolutely gorgeous. I enjoyed learning about the towns music history I’m getting to meet with local business owners. Will definitely be back

The most beautiful hostel I've ever stayed in! Robert and Lucy were super easy to communicate with, are very friendly and cool, and I really enjoyed my time at Auberge! Clarksdale is a special place!
