If you are looking for a place that is easy access and close to all wonders of Bangkok, Bangkok Bed and Bike is a perfect selection for your lovely holiday in Bangkok, Thailand!
Our hostel is located on the first road of Thailand called " Charoenkrung road"(New Road), which is the center of the commerce and trading from the past till today. The grace of our heritage building was found since 1955 with the mixture of Thai and Western architecture. 5-15 minutes walk to The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Khaosarn Road, Saranrom Park, China Town , Golden mount, and Flower market. You can catch a bus or taxi from the front while piers are also very closed by to avoid the heavy traffic on the road. You can also visit another province on your day off such as Ayutthaya, Pattaya, Danoensaduak floating market or Mae Klong Train market.
We are 2 minutes walk from MRT Samyod.
We are seeking for a reliable friend who can help us looking after the check-in, check-out, booking system, breakfast as well as the guest relation and bicycle maintenance. Minimum stay of 1 month. Work in shift for 4 hours a day, 6 days a week in exchange with a bed in mixed dorm with breakfast.

This was my first volunteering experience and I can say that it was a very good experience.I learned a lot of about human relationship and communication. Very nice cool place in Old Town, Bangkok (20 min walk to Khaosan Road). Shifts and tasks ... not hard (time to yourself). Effie, Book, Ae, Soda and everyone ... thank you soo much. Absolutely I recommend.

i wish my review was as good as the others. however, the days after arriving, i didn’t feel welcomed at all. even though effie was nice, the staff made me want to cry several times. the manager was really short-tempered and got mad if i didn’t get something at the first time. overall they were really impolite. the worst part was hearing them speak in thai while laughing and using our names mid-conversation shamelessly, which made me feel horrible.
i don’t want to sound ungrateful with this review, i’m just showing my experience there. (btw, we’re not paid workers, just volunteers.)

Hi Lucia. I'm (book). I'm so sorry about the short-tempered or mad at you. And so sorry if you misunderstand when we talk about with your name. We feel you are good volunteer and very helpful here. I personally had an awesome experience, It was my first solo travel experience and Bangkok Bed and Bike was the perfect place for me. Effie, Soda, Book, Alan, Ae and even P’Tan all treated me like family. It was truly home away from home. I wish nothing but the best volunteers from around the world to collaborate with Effie and her team to make the hostel and the new bar even better. I met so many great people from around the world that hopefully I will keep in contact with for the rest of my life. And I had so many unique local experiences and relationships which was just great too! ⭐️

Recomiendo totalmente realizar el voluntariado de recepcionista en Bangkok Bed and Bike. El lugar es super tranquilo, las tareas son fáciles, mi turno fue de 7 am a 11 am por lo que abría la recepción y realizaba los check out del día. En mi caso tenía todo el día libre para recorrer la ciudad, conocer los lugares que tenía pre vistos, está ubicado en un excelente lugar, tiene bicicletas disponibles para que puedas usar, paradas de buses y el metro cercano. El staff y voluntarios de mi estadía fue siempre muy amigable y agradable.
