Chalet Mur is the perfect place for anybody who loves skiing/snowboarding and nature. It is perfectly located between 4 - 5 ski resorts and multiple beautiful hiking trails.
The job itself doesn't feel like work. I had zero cooking skills when I first got here, but Clare (owner) and Laura (seasonal worker) have been very patient and fantastic in teaching me and I am now able to make some delicious meals and desserts 😁😁.
Clare and Ben are amazing hosts, who are very kind and welcoming and go above and beyond for you to ensure a good time. I am very grateful to both of them. 😊💕

Clare is an amazing host! I felt like home on the first day. The work is as agreed and we had plenty of time to do stuff after. The place is cozy and close to mountains. If you want to spend your time in a quiet place surrounded by nature this is the place to be!

10/10 experience ~ Immediately when I met the host Clare she was warm and welcoming. She was always there to chat to, to help out, to answer any questions and to make sure you had the best possible time. It is a lovely positive environment to be in and I wish I could have stayed longer. She made it feel like home whilst there so you can easily fit in.

The work is simple and fair and exactly as described and I can not fault this experience. It’s a great way to be out in nature and see how beautiful Austria really is. I made friends with another worldpackers who was there at the same time!

I had the best experience at Chalet mur! We had so much fun and the work is really nice. I've met some amazing people while I was there! Also the area around it is so beautiful. I definitely recommend going here as Clare is an amazing woman:)

My experience at Chalet Mur was amazing! Clare is such a sweet host, she will go out of her way to make sure you are happy and comfortable. The work was easy and went by quickly. If you like to clean and are willing to take your time to clean things correctly, this is perfect. The agreed upon hours were definitely followed. I was there in the summer which allowed for bike riding, festivals, and hiking. The area is so beautiful! Clare has lots of friends you can meet and socialize with, or you can do your own thing. This really was such a great work exchange!
