Change The World Hostels - Cascais - Estoril

We are a comfortable hostel located in Monte Estoril, 23 km from Lisbon and 10 km from Sintra. Cascais is 1.5 km away and can be easily accessed through a beautiful footpath by the sea. Lisbon Airport - Humberto Delgado is 25 km from the property.

The volunteers will integrate a small but very friendly and cheerful team, committed to making this hostel one of the most famous in the city for its welcoming and friendliness. They will be treated with all courtesy as if they were from the house.

It was an incredible experience. Uil and Edilau are two great people, very open-minded and respectful, always ready for a chat. The work shifts were simple and flexible. I couldn't have asked for more from this experience. Highly recommended hostel!!

I had the best time here, Uil and Edilau were so welcoming towards me, I felt very comfortable. The tasks were very achievable and could be completed before the end of your shift, so you had time to do your own thing at reception until a guest came to check in. I absolutely loved the other volunteers, they were all amazing people. The location is great, it’s super close to the beach, which I loved. Also, the hostel hosts lots of long stay guests which is nice, as you get to know them over your stay. It is the perfect gig, for a chill and enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend :)))

Met wonderful people and grew beyond myself! Edilau a. Uil treat everyone with respect a. make you feel very comfortable. They’re flexible with shifts a. patient with the training. You can always ask them anything a. they’re always up for a fun chat🤭The hostel has a very family atmosphere a. everyone has a open, social attitude towards others. I loved Monte estoril, close to Cascais, Lisbon a. lots of beautiful beaches. Work was easy: making beds, taking guest information for check-in a. managing payments.I would recommend it to anyone. Looking forward to coming back!❤️

I absolutely loved my time here. Uil and Edilau were so welcoming, funny and just happy hosts that I loved to be around. Friendly and loved to talk with the volunteers. The work was simple and you had a lot of time to explore the city and meet people! Lisbon was just 40 mins away by train and many beach options. I won’t forget my time here and I loved it! The only things I would say is that the hostel is a bit older and more run down, while you are also in a smaller quieter town of Portugal. So if you are looking for a party hostel you will probably want to check out Lisbon! 🩷

I enjoyed my time in Portugal. Uil and Edilau were welcoming and always happy to help or show you how to do something. The other volunteers were also friendly. Shifts were communicated well in advance and could be swapped with other volunteers when needed.

The hostel has a lot of long term guests which was an adjustment from what I was expecting. But the long term guests were also welcoming and happy to chat
