We are a small and friendly team who is always helping and supporting each other. It is a multicultural environment with staff from all over the world. Volunteers can expect a friendly vibe and support.

I loved the others volunteers and the staff I met in botanic rest, they are lovely people and the integration was amazing. Diego was understanding and flexible.
There were a lot of work to do and most of the work was related to housekeeping. My principal goals when I arrived was to improve my English, but most of the volunteers were Brazilians, so it was difficult for me to achieve these goals. But the place is good to meet new people.

Lagan fue una linda experiencia, definitivamente volveré, hice muchos amigos y logre practicar mi inglés. Las instalaciones no son las mejores y pueden mejorar, pero las tareas, el ambiente, bastante tiempo libre lo compensan. :) gracias philip, diego, mili ,vego, Jared! 💖😊

I applied for botanic but they placed me in lagan which is the other hostel. the accommodations were not what I expected. The staff room is not in good condition, the wifi only works in common areas, however the work is very easy, you have a lot of free time to enjoy the city and the friendships you make are really good and they make you feel comfortable, I would definitely come back, I enjoyed my experience :)

From the moment I arrived I was received with attention and affection. Diego and Phillip were wonderful, they couldn't have been better. Everyone at the hostel is patient and loving. The accommodation is excellent ,the food is delicious, Hassan and Veego are great cooks and friends too.The atmosphere is always good, the work is easy and pleasant as there are always lots of laughs. I felt like family, I'llnever forget how amazing my experience with you was. The Botanic is well located and the city is beautiful and peaceful. I was very happy and already want to go back. I feel so lucky about find this place in Belfast. Its not easy to find accommodation NI and they gave me the opportunity of stay with them for a long while, dive into the culture and feel part of it. Furthermore I could met plenty of people all over the world and improve many skills that no even me knew I had it.
