I agreed on doing two weeks in Monterrico. There was not that much to do and I ended up doing other stuff than agreed. The food was very good and the staff friendly. After a week I moved to the place in El Paredon though, desperate because of the moskitos and willing to be more productive. Ragna was the only volunteer and definitely needed some help. I figured out only there that conditions changed to more hours, no private room and no food included at all. They would even let the leftovers getting bad rather than giving it to us! The hours I spent at the reception weren't appreciated I felt.
Realmente Monterrico me sorprendió.
Diego, Carlos, Ito y Wally Thanks =)
I came one day early (so excited to started). I had the possibility to visit El Paradon. But my work was at Monterrico. Very nice place with potential. Lots of potential. Didnt expect to work at the kitchen pr doing labour job but helping the employees staff was fun. And i gain more confidence in the kitchen.
I stayed at Cocori El Paredón and it was amazing. The beach is really nice and so it's the vibe. The work was really chill and in the free time there is a lot of things to do. You can pick a surf board, go to the pool, pick a hammock and relax, play volley, do yoga or just hang out with friends (you sure will met your 2nd family there!). In the night there is always a party. It's a paradise for sure, i would stay for more time if I could. The only "problem" is that there is no wifi (but you can buy a chip with internet) and there are no free meals (but the food in the tiendas are cheap)
