• An opportunity to make new friends from all over the world as you will be part of a very international family. We're sure you will perfectly fit into the pack. :)

We provide all bedding and a towel. You can enjoy our delicious breakfast buffet every morning and have lunch and dinner you make with other volunteer. You can feel like home in our rooftop café area, and enjoy our roof-top terraces where you can relax. *** Mind the minimum stay is 4 weeks*** At summer time June to September we prefer minimum 6 weeks.

DanHostel is a very cool place to stay. U will be able to make lot of friends since is right in downtown & nightlife is very diverse
Thx to Florencia, Martín, Mili & Ezequiel for made my stay a really warm place to stay

Some details I won't overlook:
Volunteer room even tho was big we were 10 people with no furniture to use. Our belongings where in the way all the time
Only 1 private bathroom (were allowed to use guest's but no privacy of course)
Management needs to work in some soft skills like saying good morning looking at u, not just ignore
Instructions must be given by the right person

This was my first experience as a volunteer and I’m satisfied.
The job is not difficult even if it can sometimes be a bit tiring.
The only negative note in my opinion is that the volunteers should all carry out all the shifts in rotation, because it could become boring to always do the same.
Living 24/7 with other people from all over the world, with all the pros and cons, allows you to open your horizons and your mind.
The staff is really kind and ready to help you, a special thanks to Florencia who is extremely kind and attentive to the needs of the volunteers

This my third experience like volunteering and enjoy plenty in the Danhostel. The tasks are always in groups ou double and team Danhostel is ready to help if necessary. About the volunteers the environment is friendship and respect. In the free time is possible enjoy Aarhus go to museum, parks, beach or prepared some foods. The night is possible to adventure insane night in Aarhus. Anyway volunteering in the Danhostel was excellent and recommend all that desire to have good experience in Denmark. Thank you all team Danhostel mainly Florencia that was plenty attentive with all volunteers.

My time in Danhostel was fantastic! The staff was so kind and so helpful. The work was easy and I was given thorough training to be able to complete tasks successfully. The city itself is so beautiful and so safe. It was such a pleasant stay overall. One less star due to the host being a bit unwelcoming. I didn’t meet her until the second week of my stay and only very briefly. Florencia is the one who helps the volunteers with their needs though and she is absolutely fantastic, she’s so so sweet and helpful.

The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. The hostel also provides food each week for volunteers to cook their own meals, which saves a lot of money, especially in Denmark! And, also the city is really nice!
However, there were some issues with the manager. While she treated me fine, she didn't do the same with other volunteers, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable and tense. Also, even though the schedules were followed, the work was really hard on some days, especially when many students came for field trips. Because of this, I decided to leave earlier than planned
