Diamond Mountain Buddhist Retreat Center

Diamond Mountain is a Beautiful and Magical Buddhist Retreat Center, inspired by the Tradition of Je Tsongkapa, we offer to the world a place to go deep inside to deeply transform the outside! We offer a variety of Meditation, Yoga, online Philosophy, and online Tibetan language for beginners, and a peaceful and fun place to be.

In Diamond Mountain we want our Volunteers to have meaningful life experiences, we offer some tools for a self-improving and self-knowing experience. We work under the principles of Love, Compassion and Wisdom, basically meaning acknowledging that in life we get what we plant, therefore, been nice to others should be a priority if we want a successful life.

I had a great experience at Diamond Mountain that I will never forget. I met some amazing people (both staff and volunteers), got to witness and experience the beauty of the area, and learned so many valuable lessons. Carolyn is the most compassionate person I've ever met who taught me so much and whom I shared many laughs and fun times hanging out with. This trip was perfect for my first worldpackers trip amd makes me want to not only explore more but to come back to Diamond Mountain

DM was my first volunteering adventure, everything about this place is amazing; the people are so welcoming and they are very open to answering questions, the tasks were easy and flexible when unexpected situations occurred. It was an awesome place to start off and I sure learned a lot and made great connections, I hope to be back soon. I love you all !!

Hanlie and the rest of the staff at Diamond Mountain were incredibly accommodating and friendly! The living situation was both comfortable and social - I was provided with a private bedroom in a house shared with another volunteer. The work opportunities are varied and interesting; I did interior painting, gardening, and cleaning. Staff and other volunteers led yoga classes, meditation, and Buddhist teachings, which we were encouraged to participate in. Hanlie and staff made logistics a breeze as well by picking up and dropping off at the Tucson airport.

This was my first experience traveling as a volunteer, and couldn’t be better. Omg I loved everything here, the staff is so lovely and caring, awesome people. The tasks are simple, they are very flexible and understanding. I learn about Buddhism, yoga, meditation. This is an excellent place to go if you looking to connect to yourself and others in a different way. The views here take your breath away. Thanks to DM for making my stay so amazing 🤩. I’ll definitely want to come back!

Go for it!
