Our place is the new kid on the block. If you want to have the full adventure of seeing a new hostel develop and bring in a lot of your ideas, this is the place for you. I want to create a unique experience in this beautiful apartment for guests and volunteers to become one big family. Lets exchange ideas and get this project started!
As soon as you come in you will become part of the family. Everyone will be treated with respect and kindness. This should be a safe space and comfort zone for everyone and a place like home for volunteers. We currently have a dog living there as well so be aware in case of allergys!

Doña Rose is not just another hostel: it is a real home! The intimate and familiar atmosphere welcomed me from the very first moment and it was very hard to leave. It is a place full of tranquillity and multiculturalism where you can find yourself. Many thanks to Estefania and to all the other volunteers who made this experience even more special!

This was my first experience with worldpackers and living in a hostel, and I loved it! This hostel was super cute and so familiar!!
When I got there I was a little disappointed because Rahel, who I communicated with wasn’t there.. And she hadn’t told the new managers that I applied and came there to paint.
The new managers Linda and Estefania helped me fix everything and made sure I was happy with my tasks. Estefania, the manager and my roomie always checked on me to make sure I was okay (it was my first solo trip as well), she felt like a big sister!!

Este fue mi primer voluntariado y no podría haber sido mejor!❤️. He conocido personas maravillosas y me he sentido como en casa. Este hostel funciona como una comunidad, nos conocemos entre todos y convivimos de manera respetuosa y apoyandonos mutuamente. Una vez llegas cuesta mucho irse, yo terminé alargando mi estancia más de lo que esperaba.
Los horarios se respetaron y en todo caso fueron flexibles, siempre enfocados a que el voluntario tenga una buena experiencia. Realmente Estefanía hace un gran trabajo porque todos nos sintamos bien🌟🌟. Recomendado 100%🤗

Awesome experience!! The managers and other volunteers were all like a family and very friendly. We worked the hours and tasks agreed upon, and the managers were always understanding, they do an amazing job. I had enough time to visit the island, meet, do activities and hang out with the people living in Dona Rose. I will always remember this experience!

I absolutely loved my stay at DOÑA ROSE! I felt welcomed as soon as stepped my foot in the hostel, and was surrounded by a bunch of lovely people all throughout my experience. Everyone in the hostel was very helpful, tasks were very manageable, I got plenty of time to explore the island of Gran Canaria, and as a lot of the guests stay here long term, the vibe of the hostel was very much family-like and community based. The communication with the host was very smooth and friendly, and I already can't wait to visit the hostel & the island once more! Muchas gracias! 💛
