I want to build a community. Just now we are building the foundations off a new way we can live together. Just now we are focusing on restoring the house and garden... lots off hard work already done. Each year we get closer and form ideas off how I want to live with others ...
I'm an artist, a designer and a paraglider originally from Scotland. I love the outdoors and have spent years travelling -- most recently in the Soča Valley, where I fell in love with the scenery and people. You will find me out on a glider, or onsite, ready to help with all of your needs. I'm happy to share my dream home with you.

I arrived at Andrew's place late in the season, just as he was preparing to close up for the winter.
Despite the timing, we managed to shoot two videos, and Andrew gave me an unforgettable introduction to paragliding, which has me hooked now! We even took a day trip to Italy for a flying adventure. :)
In my spare time, I enjoyed exploring the beautiful area. There are so many fun things to do nearby!
Andrew is a funny, down-to-earth guy, and it was great meeting the other volunteers as well, in that incredibly welcoming environment.
Overall, an amazing experience!

I had an amazing time volunteering at Ecoparalodge with Andrew. He’s a fantastic host who made me feel at home from day one, easing all my first-time volunteering nerves. The place is in a stunning location surrounded by beautiful mountains, rivers, and waterfalls: perfect for those who love exploring the beauty of nature. I spent a week there, and it flew by so quick with a great balance of cooking, exploring, and enjoying nature. Andrew’s hospitality, the meaningful work, and the chance to connect with such a beautiful environment made this an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it!

I had a fantastic experience at Andrew's place and with the people there. It was my first time volunteering, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The area is stunning and perfect for exploring, with breathtaking beauty all around. I really liked the tasks Andrew assigned to me, and the food we cooked together was amazing. Overall, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to volunteer with this project, and I would definitely recommend it!

Volunteering with Andrew and his family through Worldpackers was an experience I will never forget. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such warmth and generosity. Andrew, his partner, and their little son Frederik made me feel like part of the family from day one.
Frederik, especially, was an absolute joy to be around. His energy and curiosity made every day fun and heartwarming. For anyone considering volunteering, especially if it’s your first time, I couldn’t recommend Andrew and his family enough. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity, and I hope to return someday!

I had a fantastic time staying at Andrews place for a few weeks. He is a great host. Funny and cool guy, easy and fun to work with, and creates a very chill atmosphere that you feel at home in immediately. He works with everyone and makes it fun, never goes over hours. I made some great friendships the other volunteers and with all the free time we really got to experience so much of what Slovenia has to offer. I couldn’t recommend this experience enough. I would 100% return and if you are looking to connect with nature, make some meaningful connections and just relax, look no further!
