Our top-rated hostel is a social place to meet people from all over the world, get in contact with different cultures and practice languages. Granada is an old university town of great cultural importance with easy access to open-air activities and thriving student nightlife. Overlooking the town and at the feet of snow-capped mountains lies the Alhambra, an old morish fortress categorized as a world heritage site by the UNESCO. We are located in the centre of the city.
I'm Marco, an Italian guy who loves travelling, languages, hostels and Granada. Our wonderful team will make you feel welcome and at home from the moment you step in the hostel! We want our volunteers to feel comfortable and have fun. And to have an amazing work-exchange experience. There's room for everyone's ideas and we try to make a motivated, integrated team where everyone is equal.

INCREDIBLE!! The entire El Granado team is so welcoming and kind. There is something so special about this hostel and Granada. I felt such a sense of community here and at peace. There is an easygoing work and lifestyle here and everyone enjoys every moment. I’m grateful for Marcos and Roberto’s flexibility with allowing me to do a mix of AM and PM shifts and being accommodating when I injured my knee. I would HIGHLY recommend this volunteer position to anyone but especially if you are looking for a fun and caring community, a more authentic and local Spain experience, and making friends!

Granada is a magical city, I connected with people from all over the world !! The Hostel is very lively, clean, the kitchen and the terrace are excellent!! Perfect location!!! I made friends from other countries!!! The room is very good !!! the volunteers and staff helped me with everything I needed

Marco y Aga son una pareja encantadora, que me hicieron sentir muy cómodo desde el primer minuto :), es más la última semana fui a ver un partido a un bar con Marco, además de jugar tenis con el, los animales son preciosos y el espacio para trabajar es perfecto <3

Aga y Marco son una pareja amable y preocupada. Estuvimos a cargo en total de 4 perros, 3 gatos y mantener el huerto. Se nos dió una pieza como pareja con 2 gatos en ella. Los animales y el Huerto necesitan comida y cuidado continuo en el día por lo qué tuvimos que planificar muy bien las tardes que salíamos pero con ayuda de los anfitriónes se lograba salir de casa. La mejor manera de tomarlo es como un housekipping pero con gente en casa. No tiene ninguna relación con El Granado Hostel ni sus voluntarios, ni fiestas.

El Granado is a wonderful place, honestly one of the greatest hostels I've ever been. And you can easily tell by the coments and reviews this place have. But having the oportunity of exprience this myself, not only for a couple of days, was incredible. The staff it's always friendly and super fun, you can rarely find a place where only people with the same energy or vibe goes to. The comfort this place offers to the volunteers is hard to find. After a month, it's really hard not to feel part of a family there. Even the hostel turned instantly into a home, for me. This is an amazing expirience!
