El Zopilote

El Zopilote is a permaculture farm hostel unique in the world. Is in a very big area , we have many many activities and we are open from 2002 always working with volunteers. I think that we had more than 2000 volunteers in 18 years !!!! here you'll learn a lot about permaculture and sustainable living .

At El Zopilote we work every day 5 hours and we have 2 days off. there are many different works and all of them are different rules. Here volunteers are our friends

A unique and different experience.

The place is incredible, every day you are in contact with nature. The people who work there are wonderful, Fatima and Estelvina in the kitchen are amazing.

You always do different activities that allow you to be in contact with the local people.
My best experience was learning how to cook vegan food for the famous family dinners, it was quite an adventure every week.

Daniel and Casandra are super friendly, super chill and quite flexible.

I definitely recommend it to any traveler who wants to have a different experience in nature as a volunteer.

Super recomendado , :siempre me trataron como en casa y me hicieron sentir como en familia, muy recomendado y sin duda alguna regresaría. La finca es muy grande y siempre hay alfo que hacer, el personal que trabaja ahí también es super amable, la verdad es que te sentirás como en casa y no querrás salir de el Zopilote.

My stay at El Zopilote was one of the best experiences in my life. I met a a lot of great people, the location is incredible and the work was not hard.
I would recommend a stay at El Zopilote to anyone who loves the outdoors and wants to learn about permaculture .
