Færgegårdens Camping


The place is located in a small village near harbor and beaches. The area is exceptionally good for fishing, snorkelling, sailing and has beautiful landscapes to explore. We are 7 kilometers from the old city Rudkøbing and 25 kilometers from Svendborg. Depending on the time of you arrival you can experience the quiet and relaxation of the island or the sun and the buzzing tourists during the summer months.

Here you can try many activities from minigolf to disc golf, petanque and many others. You can loan a bike from us and explore around.

We are Nicolas (33) , Cristina (30) and Bjørn (3) and our dog Baloo, we live on a cozy campsite on Langeland in South Denmark. Living with us you will have the opportunity learn about the Danish and Romanian culture and practice English (is the main language in our house). You will most likely get some new friends and encounters and explore the seaside and the nature in your free time. There are beautiful areas to explore.

I spent two amazing weeks at Færgegårdens camp, it was my first volunteering experience. I couldn't have chosen a better place. Cristina and Nicolas are wonderful people, they are kind, friendly and so interesting after everything they experienced. I really enjoyed the food they cooked, everything was so delicious. They will make sure that you have all you need and also you can agree on anything with them. They respect your working hours, so you still have plenty of time to explore the area after cleaning. The nature around is so beautiful. I met a lot of great people. i can olny recommend <3

tl;dr: Great experience all around!
This was our very first experience and we were kinda bold, spend almost 3 months with them without even knowing them in person. My wife and I could not be more satisfied and enchanted by the place, people and culture. Nicolas and Cristina a very wonderful people who we can call friends now. We worked and did our very best in any task given. The best part is that it did not go unnoticed. They not only suggested places and things to do, they also provided us with much more than we asked for.

I had a great experience at Faergegardens Camping. While I was meant to sing for the guests, this wasn't possible due to the weather conditions. I still volunteered and helped out with house chores and gardening. The hosts were flexible and provided me with a lovely and cozy room. The atmosphere of the home was really warm and welcoming, making me feel at home. The camping site is beautiful, surrounded by vast fields, beaches, and forests. Cristina is a great cook and a wonderful host. I'm very happy with how I was treated and would highly recommend staying here for some peace and serenity.

Cristina and Nicolas are the best host ever!! They make me felt at home from the first day there, they prepared me a campervan to stay and they were always worried about cover all our needs. Langeland is a beauty place to connect with nature, you are literally living in front of the beach. The job is hard but is what you expect from a camping and nothing outside the previous agreement. I completly recommend this experience, so thankfull for the awesome time and the lovely way to open your house and life to me💘💘💘
