You will get to experience all the different functions that are needed in a hostel and while being part of our international team, you will be able to explore the great city of Lisbon, all its secrets and hidden beautiful places as well as its eclectic nightlife and welcoming people, build great friendships with people from all around the world and discover what the hostel life is about!

The friendly hills experience was superb! Beta is a very kind and flexible host. The work is easy, there is no heavy load during the day. Beta is always available if needed!

I absolutely loved my stay there and I couldn’t imagine a better place for my first Worldpackers experience!!
Beta is the sweetest manager I know because she always makes you feel welcomed and always spreads positive vibes. The location is great and the working schedule allows you to do many activities :)
Besides, you improve your language skills so well in contact with the whole team.
Beta and the other volunteers made this hostel feel like a second home so I would definitely recommend this place!🫶🏻

The experience in the hostel has been very good, I can only say good things. The schedule is very good since it allows you to have enough free time to get to know the city and its surroundings. The tasks are simple and Beta is always there to help you.

I had an amazing time here at friendly hills hostel and i am super happy I came here. It is very central in the city and is also located in a party area of lisbon bairro alto, so you have very shorts ways to walk. The work is totaly fine and fun, you have short shifts and every forth day is off, so you have a lot of freetime:) We were a super cool team, and the host is very caring and kind!

I've really loved my time at Friendly Hills! Beta is an incredible boss, so friendly, welcoming and caring. The work is very fair and it doesn't take up too much time so you get a lot of opportunities to do your own things and explore the incredible city of Lisbon. I really enjoyed spending time here with the other volunteers and would definitely recommend this experience!
