We are local entrepreneurs with a passion for surfing and adventure, but we are also very passionate about the place where we live and grew up, and that's why we came with the idea of building a house where we can host people and share everything Asturias has to offer while building life-lasting relationships with our family here.

I just had one of the best experience in Gijon Surf Hostel, Gijón is truly beautiful itself, the hostel felt like home instantly, I got the chance to connect with amazing travelers, shout-out to the manager Ezequiel for his amazing work at the hostel and his disposition to listen and care for the volunteers team, I’ll be forever grateful with this place for giving me such amazing memories.

GSH was truly an amazing experience! The hostel is quite big there for there is a lot to do, the tasks are still easy though. I had the best time there and got to know so many amazing people that I’m very grateful for. Ezequiel really goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome and good. Thank you for this great opportunity!!

Este fue mi primer voluntariado, y fue sin embargo, una gran experiencia, me adapté fácilmente, se respetaron siempre los horarios y días libres, pude conocer un poco de lo lindo que es Asturias. Me toco un equipo magnífico del cual conocí personas maravillosas, al compartir habitación nunca me sentí sola, compartí muchas risas y buenos momentos, llenos siempre
de comida y salidas.
Ezequiel, el manager es una persona joven, por lo que te sientes en la tranquilidad de compartir tus ideas y dudas. Muchas gracias por todo y en algún momento volveremos a vernos!!💖💖💖

Un mes increíble! En GSH Vivi una experiencia inolvidable, conocí gente (tanto voluntarios, como huéspedes) de todas partes del mundo y con un corazón muy bueno. Eze el manager es una persona increíble, siempre estuvo atento a nuestra comodidad y siempre nos ayudó y explicó todo para que el trabajo fuera más claro. Tuve tiempo para todo, de conocer los alrededores, hacer uso de las tablas, de las bicis, etc…
Los horarios siempre se respetan y todo lo que te promete la experiencia, se cumple.

I felt welcomed, listened to and appreciated as a person and as a worker and artist. The manager Ezequiel is a deeply collaborative, nice and kind person, every week he asks you how you are and if there is anything you don't like and even if you have any suggestions to improve the hostel. I found the hostel beautiful, well organized and very clean thanks to the wonderful volunteers I met. As for the role of photographer and social media manager, if you are a perfectionist like me you will probably be the one who will work the hardest, but the request from the hostel is definitely manageable.
