Hello! I'm looking for volunteers from the 1st of October! My hostel is a great place to experience local life, culture and history. All my rooms are themed and provide background information on typical Dutch places, things and people. My team will make sure you have a memorable experience. Fun fact: 1 in 8 of my volunteers moved to Haarlem (real!).
I have a team of 15 locals which are all enthusiastic about where they are from (Haarlem!). We are like a family and we welcome you to join us. You will meet people here from all over the world. We don't have TV's so we encourage our guests to interact. You are welcome to join social activities, like the Local Bikeride, Pubcrawl or Beertasting. The beach of Bloemendaal, Amsterdam City Center, nature reserves, interesting museums, cool vintage stores: it's all very close to the hostel. - There is a special room you share with the volunteers + private bathroom - The volunteers group gets a groceries allowance of 250 euro per week (6 people) - I provide a bike and 50% discount on the delicious food/drinks from our restaurant - Free quality coffee & tea from our cafe! - The group of volunteers gets a groceries allowance of 250 euro per week (6 people)

It was a positive experience and a real worldpckers family, it meets what travelers expect and Tim is an extraordinary coordinator, all very organized schedules and tasks with good communication and a team with good vibes. I'll be back soon, thanks for this opportunity!

This experience certainly exceeded my expectations. Haarlem is one of the most amazing cities I've ever visited, super safe and with very friendly, kind and helpful people. The hostel staff is the best I've ever met, everyone is wonderful and I loved working with them. From the beginning I felt very welcome and at home. The work itself is not difficult and is fun to do together with the other volunteers. Do yourself a favor and come here!!!! Special thanks to Tim for being the best host I could ask for. Thank you so much for all the love & attention.

My stay in Hello Im Local was amazing, I stayed for 2 months and it became my home away from my country. It’s a lovely place to meet locals and people from all over the world and Haarlem it’s an amazing city. We do tasks like housekeeping, helping in the cafe, cleaning dishes and night shift. An especial thanks for all the staff who were amazing with me during my stay, I will miss everyone. I would recommend this volunteer to everyone.

It was a very good experience, I met new people, the hostel staff is very close, I am a very shy person and I had no problem feeling at home. They accept everyone if you sing, dance or juggle... there is no problem. I have enjoyed the movie and dance nights as well as the dinners with everyone every day (also cook sometimes :p). It is a good place to experience something good and visit a nice place in the Netherlands. I have also been able to practice my English and know new cultures worldwide. Thanks to all of you!

First of all, THANK U SOOOOO MUCH! Tim and Saskia for give me the chance to be here with you! My first visit to Europe! You opened the biggest door in my Life! Thank u Thank u Thank u! it's a perfect place! Everything is so organized and peaceful! Very flexybile! I really don't have words to describe how important and perfect is this place, this staff and this city! I'll miss u a loooot ! And thank u so much for all the staff!
