my favorite volunteering experience so far ❤️ just a bit of reception work that is chill and easy. everyone is super friendly and makes you feel like a part of the family. definitely recommended

My 2 weeks at House Of Journey were some of the best ever! The hostel vibe was amazing and attracted a great crowd of guests. They volunteers are given a lot of freedom in how they run the show, which is refreshing but can also be a little confusing at the start. But luckily there’s usually someone there to help you out! Overall, it was a superb experience, and very sad to leave :’)

Had a good time at HOJ. Can recommend if you’re a very social and outgoing person, since the main tasks are reception work and hosting different events for the guests 🌺
My only complaint would be that the hostel could be unorganised a times, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed the day after by the owners or Dway (he always found a way🥸).

I loved my time here! Our group of volunteers was so much fun and the work was very manageable. I’ll miss HOJ very much!

I loved the time at HOJ!! We were a group of volunteers working at the hostel and soon grew very close.
We had a new schedule every week which included daily activities and reception work. I have never done this kind of work before so I was very grateful for all the help everyone offered me until I was totally sure what I have to do.
It was a great place to get to know other travelers and make new friends.
A big thank you especially to Cheryl and Rayson who have welcomed me and all the other volunteers big hearted and made it a home for us.
