This is a small farm in a beautiful location with plenty of learning opportunities. Kona Hawaii is one of the most expensive cities in America to visit. We offer an opportunity for travelers to be able to afford this destination and its beauty.
We have acquired this property 10 years ago and have been committed to developing it since. As we grow older we find the need for more help. We believe that we are kind and generous which we attempt to extend to everyone.

Michelle and Eric are very experienced hosts. If you have any questions about the island and activities or the work that you do, they will definetely have an answer for it. Their house was the best house I‘ve ever stayed in. The location was phenomenal by being outside of Kona but only a few minutes away from Downtown. Michelle’s cooking was outstanding! Work was hard and sometimes a bit boring, but if you have other world packers that keep you company, you‘ll have some fun. There are a lot of rules in the house that I needed some time to adapt with, but they are within reason. 100% recommend

It is HARD physical work, but that shouldn't be a surprise because it's the first thing you are informed of before committing. Food and accommodation is amazing. There are many rules to the house (which can be overwhelming to some), but it's only to ensure that their things are taken care of. If you're clean, organized, and up for a challenge, I recommend. I truly felt welcomed and cared for. They brought me along on their family camping trip in Hilo, got to drive their ATV, trusted me with their truck, and was even offered the chance to return if my next trip was unsafe. Thank you!

My dear Gabby, you're such a beautiful person. I'm so glad that you understand your life is an endless ocean of opportunities. You are the brave and powerful captain. The biggest lesson that I hope to instill in everyone is if you are willing to work hard and embrace difficult times, the possibilities are infinite. I have no doubt you will be one of those individuals that can conquer the world in your own way. Eric and I feel so privileged to have had you cross our path. My first experience as a volunteer was truly unforgettable, and it exceeded all my expectations. Prior to this, I had been a host in Brazil for a long time, but I always harbored a curiosity to be on the other side, contributing my time and effort to a meaningful cause.
Incredible volunteer experience in Hawaii! Amazing hosts, comfortable accommodations, and delicious meals. Access to a car for exploration was a bonus. Highly recommended! Grateful to Michelle, Erick, and Makala for making it so special. MAHALO 🌴🌺🤗

It felt more like a job than a volunteering experience. I did mostly housekeeping which was ok but working in the land was hard and the mood was sometimes tense. Accommodation and food was excellent!

My dear Lourdes, Yes farming is hard work. I warned you over and over again when you were interviewing. You should be proud that you lived up to the challenge. It was a great accomplishment, and I appreciate it immensely. As far as the tension, I can not control other world packers. I acknowledge that we had a volunteer that was extremely trying and difficult. This was very difficult for me as well. I had to resolve it by returning the individual home with my own funds. This should have made things better for you, and all the other volunteers. I do not feel I should be judged for this. I do my best to keep this place a drama free zone, but unfortunately life is not perfect.

I had a great experience with Michelle and Eric. Michelle always provided great meals, breakfast and dinner. There is hard work that comes with it but I think it was worth it for what you get. You get an amazing place to stay with people that take you in. I’ve met so many amazing people on this trip and this was a great first experience with Worldpackers. Thank you so much Michelle and Eric for making this experience such a good one!
