WOT Lisbon Patio

WOT Lisbon Pátio is the second hostel of the new Hub Hostels brand. It will open its doors next April and is the newest and bigger hostel in town with 180 beds. Close to the popular Parque Eduardo VI and Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, one of the most important foundations that support the Arts and Music . Is also in walking distance to streets without car access and full of nice restaurants, fancy bars, discos..., shops, gardens, museums....

We are a young team of addicted travelers and with different working area experiences (hospitality, human resources, administration). We all lived abroad for a couple of years and decided to return to Portugal and do “something different”. Different can be simply wake up and be happy to go to work because we all are doing something that we enjoy and we have a great work environment. Laughing, singing and dancing are as usual as answering an email or welcoming a guest!

The WOT Lisbon Patio was my first volunteering experience, and it was awesome!

The team there is young, energetic, and friendly - instantly making you feel like a welcomed member of the team.
The manager was really flexible and helpful as well. Fábio was always helpful to find a solution quickly.
The work itself wasn't too hard - I usually worked with another volunteer, so we could help each other out.
All in all, it was a great first experience, and I'm already starting to miss the people I met there. Hopefully, we'll cross paths again soon!

Fiquei 2 meses no Wot Lisboa e foi uma das melhores experiências que tive, compartilhei experiências e fiz muitas amizades com pessoas de diversos países. O hostel é bem localizado, proximo a estação de metro, supermercado e atrações turísticas, parques e até academia que fica na frente. O hostel é super completo, principalmente para você que precisa de um espaço para trabalhar ou estudar enquanto viaja. Quero agradecer ao Fábio por ser sempre atencioso e também por liberar estadia em outras unidades do Wot, onde explorei mais Portugal e tive várias experiências de norte a sul. WOT <3

This was my first ever experience with worldpackers and I couldn’t have wished for anything better. The tasks are not too hard and most of the time you will finish early. Volunteers and staff members were truly amazing and made me feel welcomed and loved since day one. I also loved meeting people from all over the world with such different backgrounds and cultures.
I feel like this is an extremely enriching experience that i would definitely recommend to anyone!
I left a piece of my heart in Patio :)
