My name is Leyber - Venezuelan by origin, a traveler by heart. After years of exploring various corners of the world, I sought a place to call home and discovered it in the north of Tenerife. We consider our volunteers an integral part of our family, and despite our small size, we value mutual respect for each other's space, all while ensuring an environment filled with joy and various activities!

For me it was my first worldpackers experience and it was incredible!! I couldn’t imagine something better. The house has the most amazing view and I felt really at home. Also because of all the amazing international guests, the other volunteer and Leyber. The work was really easy and flexible with the hours. Also Tenerife is beautiful and I was able to see a lot of its beauty after work or on my days off. I was really lucky, because during my stay was carnival. We went there as a group many times and it was so much fun. I also loved the local spots Leyber showed us. All in all it was perfect

I came back to Ikigai for the third time.
During my travel, this place made me feel truly at home.
The work doesn't really feel like work at all.
Through this, you have the time to fully focus on the Island, the guests and and any fun trips coming up.
Leyber and the guests have become good friends to me. Because Ikigai is a coliving space, full of digital nomads, the guests can share a lot of insight on their work and give out career advice. This has helped me immensely with finding my own path.
I'm really greatful to have stumbled upon this magical Island and beautiful place.

I spent a total of three weeks in the co-living. The entire property is relatively large and very well maintained. Leyber, the host, makes every effort to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and that there is a relaxed group atmosphere. I particularly appreciated that the need for privacy is respected, while at the same time there are plenty of opportunities to participate in social activities. In fact, co living is organized like a large family. I also liked the fact that the working hours are flexible and based on trust. Thank you very much for the great time!

Ikigai is amazing house where you can get easily motivated to work on your own projects surrounded by inspiring people. Leyber cares a lot about your wellbeing there and the key is communication :) The area is very safe and the views are mesmerising. After a few days you will easily navigate in tasks and the work there is very chill. You can always move your hours and go explore the island with others or Leyber will take you to the beaches or restaurants or simply shopping. He is a very caring person and is there to help you. You will have lots of fun with another volunteer exploring Puerto:)

Ikigai is a very special place, I spent two months there, I saw people come and go and the vibe changing with them, but something that never changed is how special it is. People that come here are all so nice and we had a lot of fun.
As for the volunteering experience, it was my first volunteer (and coliving) experience, and I had a magical time, tasks are simple and clear, moreover Leyber takes us to some really cool spot and good restaurants, to make us discover Tenerife. The place looks amazing, and so confortable, it feels very peaceful. The view from the balcony is incredible
