K's House Mt.Fuji and K's House Fuji View offer free accommodation in exchange for assisting in housekeeping and cleaning duties in our hostel.
Mount Fuji has different face day by day, so it can be nice experience to stay a while in this area.
Note: We are only able to offer this position to working holiday visa holders.
K's House Mt.Fuji and K's House Fuji View are located in the Fuji Five Lakes area. Every year over 10,000 guests from more than 70 different countries come to stay with us. We look forward to welcoming you to the Mt. Fuji area.

Both me and my partner loved our experience. I cannot thank everyone at K’s house enough for the kind hospitality we received, if anyone is travelling through the area I would highly recommend this backpackers!

I had a meaningful experience at K's House Fuji View and would 100% recommend you apply. The staff/helpers were so welcoming and organized. I felt appreciated and safe. I was able to meet interesting travelers from around the world. The work was very fair; sometimes, we even finished early and had tea time. The hostel is clean and comfortable. I had a lot of free time to relax and my time there was very peaceful. Food is not included in the exchange but I was reimbursed weekly with a little food assistance cash. My favorite memory was the company potluck we had with past/current coworkers.

There are 2 K's houses in Kawaguchiko and I spent my time at Mt.Fuji View branch. It was beautiful!
The staff are extremely supportive and accommodating. All helped me achieve all my travel goals and making things happen. I wouldn't have been able to do so much without them
The location is beautiful and perfect for watching Mt.fuji and sightseeing. It has a very upmarket hostel, near hotel vibe and as such they expect higher quality work then most hostels. But it's not hard or too much work, and the staff will have you feeling like your apart of a family. I really hope to come back soon.
