This was my first hostel experience, and I honestly could not have imagined it being any better! From the moment I arrived, the entire team made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Their friendliness and hospitality truly made a difference and created such a warm atmosphere. The hostel itself is spotlessly clean—even cleaner than some expensive hotels I’ve stayed in! The facilities are well-maintained, modern, and inviting. Everything was designed to make guests feel at home, and it worked perfectly. I’m beyond grateful for my time here and will definitely return

I will never forget the time I spent at the Khao San social hostel. This place is seriously dialed in, it’s clean, it’s well organized, and it’s effortlessly social.
From the start the team was welcoming and supportive. Sunny has made something truly special here. Teaching yoga was awesome, if you’re considering going, just do it.

This was my first volunteer experience with worldpackers and I could not have loved it more. I taught yoga for an hour each day with mondays off. The hostel was great as well as the staff. I loved this place so much and would definitely go back. Such a good good experience truly.

I recommend this hostel 1000% :) It felt like a home away from home! Not only was the facility fun, clean, and inviting, but the people were AMAZING and welcomed me right away. I was the social volunteer and it is great for people who are outgoing and can run activities and events. I had plenty of time to explore Bangkok during the day and then social hour in the evening. The city is busy and the nightlife is exciting, especially Khaosan Road. This is a social hostel not a party hostel, which is great. I am so grateful for my time here. Big thank you to Sunny and the team, I hope to return! :)

I spent 2 weeks at the Khao san hostel and had a great time volunteering. You take 1 sunset yoga session at the rooftop every day except Mondays and receive 100 baht a day to cover meals. The hostel is in the middle of the bustling khao san area so you will be greeted with street food and clothing vendors from the doorstep. The hostel has a lot of social activities so you get to meet with lots of international travellers and you can spend remaining time exploring the city. Keep in mind that 100 baht a day doesn’t cover your meals in a day (approx 1/3rd of total meal spend).
