Kimchee Guesthouse Busan Downtown

Our guesthouse is a short walk from the entertainment center of Busan: Seomyeon. Bomnaegol Subway Station being just a 30 second walk from our guesthouse, you can reach popular beaches and attractions easily!

With only 2 hours of work per day 5 days a week helping with our daily housekeeping, you are free to do whatever you would like with the rest of your time.

In exchange for your work, we provide free accomodation, and rice and ramyeon!

All facilities (kitchen, laundry, free wifi and etc. ) are available 24/7.

All the staff are nice and friendly, and are ready to help you with everything you need! It's a great opportunity to meet new people and make some lifelong friends~ Let's have a fun experience in one of Korea's beautiful coastline cities, Busan!

We had an amazing experience at Kimchee House! We met some amazing people, including travellers and other volunteers. Rei and David are both awesome and made us feel welcome immediately upon arriving. The work is easy and wouldn’t take long. It was so fun to hang out with the other volunteers and get to know everyone. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is interested in staying in Busan. Thank you so much Rei and David, hopefully we will meet again one day!

I had an amazing time here, the work is easy and the staff is amazing. I decided to stay longer ´cause I love my time in Busan. The place is in a central area (a lot of restaurants, gyms, clubs around) and 3 min walk from the metro station. Thank you Rei and David for everything. :)

i spent an amazing month in busan at their second branch, oneway, because they needed support when i arrived. both places were super welcoming and friendly. working hours were as agreed upon and overall very manageable.
i can't stress this enough: lovely team, lovely volunteers and all in all just a wonderful experience!

I had a very nice time there. Everyone's really open and it's easy to have a lot of fun with both staff and guests. Depending on what's free, you might even get to choose to have a private staff room or be in the common one. Also Seomyeon is right beside, so it's easy to find food, bars, and party places. I stayed a short time, but there were some long timers there, and it was nice to get recommendations from them
