We are looking for Community Developers (CD), whose job is to host social English speaking events (such as: language exchange, debate, board games), and to encourage our community's members to speak English by creating activities or by simply talk to them. Please share your skills, experiences, and stories with us. Requirements: - Sociable, active, responsible, punctual people - Must speak English fluently *** If you choose not to stay at our place and still want to do the volunteer work, we would like to support with some food expenses.
The mission of our organization in 2023 is to create value for everyone that involves: the community, volunteers, staff, members... And therefore, we must improve the experience that people have at Language & Culture Exchange - HCMC. Hope we all, together, will contribute to this mission in any way that we can.

Huong and everyone at CTE are so kind and welcoming! The classes aren’t too long and all of the students are so friendly and really want to learn English. The center took us on a tour of the city one day and included us in a lot of activities throughout our week here. Huong is great at communicating and the organization is super organized. This has been my favorite volunteering experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who is considering traveling to Ho Chi Minh!!

My experience at CTE was amazing. I had the best time I wish I planned to stay for longer. You only have to give up a few hours per day then you have the rest of the day free. But the set up is so nice and welcoming and everyone from the staff to the students are so kind and warming. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone thinking about it because you gain a lot out of it even though you are the one helping the students.

Huang + CTE team + the locals = made me fall in love with this volunteering journey! This whole trip has been so blissful. Huang is the most warm, welcoming yet understanding host I’ve ever met. She is structured and so caring to the volunteers. Everything was well taken care. The sessions were always well planned, and as described on the profile, it’s as it is. I am definitely going to miss this place, especially the people. Love them! Thanks for having me and sharing a great experience with me ❤️

This is my first worldpackers' volunteer gig and it could not have been better! As i have my own accommodation in Saigon, i did not stay at the accommodation provided. I would commute to the 2 CTE's centers.
Huong and her team were very welcoming and flexible in accommodating my schedule. The work is easy and only in the evenings. The participants who attended the sessions are warm and enthusiastic. Through the debates and discussions, I am able to gain new insights of not only of the people in Vietnam, but, also about myself.
Its a really refreshing & fun experience. Thank you CTE.

Coffee Talk English in the perfect place to get to know locals and Vietnamese culture.
The staff is really welcoming and friendly.
My work was fun and interesting, I had to participate to some cultural exchanges and debates with local people who wanted to practice their English.
I got the opportunity to make some local friends with whom I spent some of my free time.
I really reccomend Coffee Talk English 😊
