We are located in a traditional neighbourhood, near all tourist attractions but not in the middle of the chaos. Our little pateo/garden is a great place to be in the summer and out livingroom and other areas all year round. We have got two fully equipped kitchens.
We work with a young and international team. Volunteers need to be independant and wanting to pull their weight and become a team member. We treat everybody in the hostel fairly and equally.

I had an excellent experience at Chill Out hostel. I felt very comfortable during all my stay and in fact we have extended it one more month. Rebecca, Ana, and all the staff were very friendly and receptive since day 1, and I learnt a lot of things related to hostel's daily tasks and general working dynamics. Thanks for the opportunity! :)

El ambiente del hostal es muy acogedor y colaborativo. Ana y Rebeca siempre compresivas y dispuestas a ayudar. Ed el lugar adecuado para interactuar con personas de otros países también para tener diversión y pasarla bien porque está muy bien localizado, a 15-20 minutos caminando hacia las zonas más turísticas.

Well, staying at Chillout was a very good experience. I met many people, I had contact with guests from other countries. Tasks were easy and simple to perform. Rebecca, João and Ana are very good people who help with what you need and teach you what is needed. The volunteers are all treated well and I had no problem with anyone. The hostel staff are all very helpful and always help with what is needed, Laura and David are very good people and are always willing to help.

Adorei a experiência de voluntariado no Chillout hostel. O ambiente é agradavel, divertido e organizado. O hostel é muito bem localizado e todo o combinado entre horários e tarefas é respeitado com certa flexibilidade. A equipe é maravilhosa, Rebecca, Ana, David e Lara são muito queridos e divertidos . Obrigada por me receberem.

A equipe Chillout é realmente uma família. Não tenho palavras pra agradecer a carinhosa acolhida que tiveram comigo, todo o staff é maravilhoso. Recomendo muito para praticar inglês e até mesmo outras línguas, o contato com pessoas de outras nacionalidades é muito comum. O trabalho é condizente com o combinado e são muito flexíveis. Realmente gostei muito da minha experiência :)
