Little Monkey Camp
It's not about volunteering, its fun exploring Kibale forest in Uganda. Situated at entrance of Kibale Forest National Park, Kibale forest area is one of Uganda’s most rewarding destinations to explore. It’s located just outside Kibale National Park 18km along Kamwenge road, Fort Portal Western part of Uganda.
Travellerers willing to volunteer at Kibale River Camp will have the opportunity to interact with local communities, explore crater lakes, do forest walk, visit tea estates, visit orphanages and schools, help in local hospitals or health centers.
The accommodation for their stay has been designed and furnished with nature in mind creating a feeling of comfort and relaxation in the chimp & crater lakes region. All units include a seating and dining area. There is also a self catering kitchen. There is an eco friendly open bathroom with hot shower and with free toiletries in every unit. Bed linen is featured.
A unique experience and one not to be missed is a 'forest Dinner' where one dines with Black & White colobus monkeys your fellow diners! The property also offers packed lunches.
