Many past helpers have mentioned that the hostel is one of the nicest hostels they have stayed. They also like our beautifully decorated house and its relaxing atmosphere. Helping here will be not only fun experiences but also learning experiences about people, life and yourselves. Being exposed to multiple cultures is very life enriching. Meeting guests and getting to know people from all around the world creates fun and valuable experiences. Also, we are one block away from French Quarter and 5 minutes walking distance from Frenchmen street where the world famous Jazz clubs are located. If you are lovers of music, restaurants, arts or just any kind of fun things happening every night, you should definitely check out our hostel.
Hello friends, My name is Sean and I own this beautiful hostel.We have 4 private rooms and 3 dorm-type rooms. Currently, we have 4 volunteers. Since we are a small-sized hostel, I try to make it for everyone to be a home away home. I hope to see all of you soon. Thanks!

Misabelle's House es un lugar especial. No es muy grande, pero pasan muchas cosas. Hay mucho movimiento. Todas las conversaciones que tienes cada día con distintas personas, genera la sensación de que una semana se sienta como un mes. Aprendí muchas cosas y conocí mucha gente. Lo recomiendo. Otra cosa importante #WeLoveSean

This was my first experience with WorldPackers and it couldn't be better ! Sean is a very nice person and very chill as a boss. I was in charge of the morning shifts essentially and the tasks were preatty easy. One of the best thing about this experience was meeting people from the hostel, wether staff or customers. Moreover, New-Orleans is an incredible city to discover and it's never boring so don't hesitate to apply to this position ! Special mention to DJ, Ingrid, César, Lorenzo and Cass !!

Collaborating at Madame Isabelle's House has exceeded my expectations as a first volunteer experience. Sean is very respectful and attentive to any individual or group need, he always wants us to feel comfortable as volunteers, and he is very clear about what he expects us to do. The place is perfect for discovering the city as it is a ten-minute walk from the main tourist sites, as well as it iseasy to find public transportation to go to other tourist attractions. The experience of sharing different moments with people from many countries has also been incredible.

My first experience as volunteer it's been a blast, Sean was so kind and he care all the time about us the volunteers as a family, making sure we alright and makes me feels welcome, never going to forget having my breakfast looking at the magnolias by the backnyard next to Maui. for sure I highly reconmend it and ill be back soon for sure!! #Home🥰
