We are an amazing hostel in an amazing location. Near the heart of Kailua Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, near beaches, snorkeling, and other activities. And we have amazing guests stay with us. We have high standards and treat our guests like family.
We treat our staff like family. We all work together to get the job done so we have time to have fun! It is a flexible work environment and we have pretty clearly laid out job descriptions and expectations.

This team is amazing, you meet so many amazing people and have a very flexible work schedule so plenty of time to explore the islands! Unfortunately my trip had to be cut short due to some unforeseen circumstances, and the host was more than happy to work with me! If you are wanting to pursue this work trade, I would say go for it! If I am able to come back out and work trade for this hostel I would! Thank you Jenaya and My Hawaii Hostel! 💛

Great time, awesome people gonna miss them all, wasn’t ready to leave, appreciate the opportunity and the time, perfect location to move around Kona, beautiful sunset spot across the street and best beaches around walking distance and the best group of people🤍

If you are wanting to wake up happy every morning with gorgeous weather and smiling faces this is the place for you! I spent 3 months living and working here and I’d do it over and over again. The hostel is a vibe catcher. If you can create a vibe it’ll stick! There is clear direction on the job, clean shared spaces, and it’s in the perfect location.

This turned out to be one of the greatest experiences of my life. I think every work trader I got the pleasure of knowing brought such a great energy to the hostel in their own way, which is a testament to the owners' selection process. They really care about the workers and the guests having an amazing experience and the hostel is set up to make it happen. I'd not just recommend this place, I'd say everyone should get the benefit of such an awesome experience that enriches them as much as this place enriched my life.
