Nature Camp in Amsterdam

Within the borders of Amsterdam, in the largest natural landscape in the city is our nature camp.
The best of both worlds: a bike ride away from the vibrant city and a quiet rural area and private forest!

We are a community of people who respect each other, can choose to be together but we respect your own time. The tasks are very clear for some positions and for others, we are flexible and arrange it individually. You can join a whatsapp group and then choose if you want to cook together / or not, get together, or not.

The establishment Claudia and Minne has built here is a very good one. They find good, respectful people to help nurture that positive environment to work, sleep, and even hangout in. They are wonderful people who live full lives with a lot of passion in what they do, both in Terragon and in their community. I've always felt listened to and taken care of while I've stayed for my month, and despite how busy they got, they would stop to check in to make sure everything was going well in my stay. I'm deeply happy about my stay, and hope to come again next year. Thank you Claudia and family!

I had a lovely time at Terragon nature camp! Claudia and Minne are very welcoming and we had a super nice group of other volunteers also working at the camp. The work with the children is very fun and creative, and you have the opportunity to bring your own energy and ideas to the experience each day. The caravan was comfortable and in a lovely green location, in Amsterdam(!), although we did clean it ourselves in the beginning. There was good variety with the food to cook with. Overall, I very much enjoyed the experience, it was very rewarding, and I would really recommend to others!!
