Located in Riga's Old Town, we have an awesome spot in a UNESCO world heritage site, next to some of the best spots in Town. With almost 6k reviews and a 9.8 average score, we are one of the highest rated hostels on the planet. We're known for big parties, awesome tours, the best staff and a super clean building.
We are world travellers ourselves, and love meeting people. Thats why we do this job. We love the city and the opportunity to share it with our guests. This applies to our Staff and Volunteers as well, everyone here is super freindly and out going, and loves the hostel atmosphere. We're here to make freinds and have a good time. We want you to be part of that as well.

The whole Naughty Squirrel team was amazing and kind. This was definitely one of my favorite worldpackers experiences! Work is pretty straightforward and not too labor intensive.

Absolutely amazing experience! Highly recommend for first time world packer experiences. The staff are all really great, friendly, and willing to help you. Plus living the situation is a pretty nice set up with only sharing a room with max 3 others.
A key thing for me was compared to some other hostels they make sure to keep facilities clean. Overall a great experience, definitely recommend!

Best Worldpackers experience I’ve had. I LOVED my time at the naughty squirrels and wish it never had to end. Best hostel ever- the workers are so kind and helpful. I did the events and it was so much fun and the hours were fair and I just had the most amazing time. Cannot recommend the naughty squirrel enough.

It has been a wonderful experience, being in the hostel let you meet a lot of people, the workers there are great, the work is good and the activities they offer you are so funny. They have a big kitchen where you can cook every day, you have a staff fridge where you can put your food, and often they have a free food (always they offer milk and drinks, and sometimes there are pasta, cereals, condiments, and fresh food for take)
The room and the common area are so nice, and they are flexible, so if you need something they try to help you.

I stayed for one month at naughty squirrel and I LOVED it. It was my favorite worldpackers experience during a whole year of volunteering. The pubcrawls are amazing, the other staff members are lovely and the whole vibe of the hostel is just great. The working hours are fair and the work is super easy. There is enough free time to visit nearby cities in Latvia during a day trip, travelling a few days to other baltic countries or just explore Riga itself. AdditionallyRiga is such a beautiful city to see with a greatnightlife as well. Overall this experience was awesome and I recommend it 100%.
