The traveler who wants to learn what off-grid living is really like should come here and learn while helping. Those who want to live up close and personal with the natural desert elements should come here! If you require modern-day lifetsyle, this is not for you. This is sustainable off-grid living at its best! It's work, but it's satisfying work. If you care about Mother Earth and ways to treat her well, this is the place for you.
We treat everyone with a high level of courtesy and respect. We are old-fashioned about respect, courtesy, and hospitality. You will find everything very clean on your arrival and the meals will be bountiful and tasty (one of us was a personal chef!). We are open, honest, and direct. We are easy going, but we have high standards for ourselves and hope that volunteers do the same.

This experience was nothing but awesome, the hospitality was great! The work was not the hardest, it was enjoyable and satisfying to be able to feel like you are actually helping someone out. The generosity was second to none and if you respect them they will definitely respect you. I can definitely say that when I left I made some life long friends and will possibly be back to visit and see how the build is coming. It was my pleasure to do exchange work with Belinda and Oscar.

This volunteer experience was absolutely amazing. We learned so much about living off grid and just knowledge about life. Belinda and Oscar are some of the kindest people I have ever met. Their hospitality is out of this world, and Belinda’s cooking will leave you speechless! Our stay with them was a 10/10. I am so thankful for the friends we have gained and can not wait to visit again. I highly recommend going and helping them out if your looking for a new experience! It’s completely off grid so make sure you know what off grid living is before applying!
