Joining PCEF school will grant you access to an authentic experience of life in Cambodia. You will live in a rural area, experiencing the countryside village lifestyle. As a teacher, you will learn how we teach English in Cambodia. It also gives you the opportunity of sharing your knowledge with our students. Your help will serve a useful purpose by supporting unprivileged children to receive a better education.
Our school is 25km away from Siem Reap, the second biggest city in Cambodia where you can visit Angkor Wat a UNESCO world heritage! And many other things we would have the pleasure of talking about.
We currently have six permanent teachers who will help you during each class (you will not be on your own). You can observe the way they create their classes on the first day, so in the following classes you can assemble your own courses or decide to follow the given textbook.

Volunteering at PCEF was an amazing experience 🥰
Pagna and his family were extremely welcoming and the school and children were wonderful.
Teaching was enjoyable as well — classes are structured, so you know what to teach. The children are all excited and willing to learn and it was a pleasure to have been there.
Pagna’s children also brought us around the village, which was really nice and peaceful. Pagna even brought us to see the Floating Village and the other school they have!
The food was amazing and I miss it already!

This experience was one of the best things I have ever done in my life. Pagna and his family are absolutely incredible and the kids at this school are amazing. I met so many volunteers who will now be life long friends. I loved it here so much I extended my Sam Tay for a very very long time so I can help out longer. You won’t find a better family anywhere else! Plus the food is amazing and getting to see the countryside is such a gift. The scenery is incredible!

I had a great experience in PCEF. Pagna, Sai Vong and their family are amazing and they truly care for you to have a wonderful time here. Also the classes follow a defined schedule which helps you to design your lessons easily, which is great if you don't have experience teaching. In the two blocks of classes I taught i always worked with teachers from the school, a powerful combination, for me as volunteer and students alike.
Kids are incredible and hardworking and have an attitude for learning, inspiring. Kudos to all the volunteers I met here, all are great.
I'm missing this already!

My experience at PCEF couldn't have been better. You feel at home from the moment you enter the school and Pagnas family are really nice people they all made me feel welcomed, safe and made sure i was always happy.The classes are amazing as the kids are always willing to learn and are really happy for welcoming you there. Would recommend it to everyone, you won't regret!

I had an amazing experience, being able to to teach Cambodian children the English language. It was a privilege to be able to teach them in the classroom and see them grow every day. Pagna, Sivong and their children were so kind and helpful and I’m glad that I had the opportunity to be a part of the community for the two weeks I had!

Angel was a very good teacher. She got involved with both the children at the school and my own. She was very friendly to all of the children. My children became very close to her.
I and All of my children miss her and ask when she will return. I would welcome her back anytime.
