Playworking - Active Coliving and Coworking Community
Montenegro is a beautiful country with stunning mountainous vistas and an incredible coastline. Playworking is a coliving retreat with an added layer of adventure sports activities. The facilities consist of coworking space, comfortable rooms and common living spaces including terraces and balconies.
I guess our ethos is what you would expect of people who enjoy the outdoors and the company of travelers. We're respectful, interested and creative.

I met amazing people and built great relationships with volunteers and guests during activities such as hiking and movie nights. During the low season, there were few scheduled activities, which required proactivity from volunteers. I participated in gardening, cleaning, organizing, washing cars, always available to help. Last week, there were some problems with dishes piling up, which were unfairly attributed to me. To avoid conflicts, I washed everything, even though I didn't have to. I suggest clearly dividing tasks per volunteer, avoiding ambiguity and ensuring direct responsibilities.

João is great guy and added a lot to the community and was very helpful in all areas around the house. Low season is not the best time to be volunteering but he and the others at the house made the most of the social and indoor opportunities. Thanks João!

Loved it!!! The home is lovely, comfortable and the views of the bay and the mountains off the balcony are phenomenal! Constantly grateful. Jeffrey has a direct confident communication style which I personally liked & also had a compassionate side and seemed genuinely wanting everyone to have great experiences. He prefers self-starters (is not a micro manager) and needs everyone to do the work that is needed. He offers autonomy and rewards positive work ethic. The work could be cleaning, yard work, stacking wood, or even small handyperson tasksnand more. Loved this trip, highly recommend!

Amazing Experience in Montenegro with Jeffrey

I had a wonderful experience in Montenegro. Jeffrey was always willing to help with anything I needed, which made my stay even more enjoyable.During my time there, I engaged in activities like biking and exploring the beautiful beaches. The tasks assigned to me were not difficult, and after completing my hours, I had free time to paint and explore Kotor and other charming towns. Montenegro is definitely one of the best places to volunteer. Thank you, Jeffrey, for everything.

Volunteering at PlayWorking has been an amazing experience. I recommend to everyone to come here. You will live with other volunteers and digital Nomads. The host is a really good person and gives you a lot of space and self-organization to do your tasks. At the Coliving, you have a lot of services that you can use: bike, SUP, and Car. You have all you need to enjoy Montenegro!!!

I felt at home since the first day of my stay, I was welcoming by Jeff and the other volunteers, I have fun while enjoying being around nature. Tasks are simply and you will have plenty of time to develop yourself, work remotely and explore Montenegro. It is a good opportunity to meet people from all over the world and practice English, you do not feel the difference between guests and volunteers as everyone is treat equal, I will come back again.
