Volunteering at Puckaster Cove was a truly enriching experience. Russ and Steph are both lovely people and we enjoyed our family dinners immensely. The site is beautiful and the accommodations were clean. We had a separate kitchen and bathroom space just for us. The work was straightforward and discussed each day. The bus picks up right outside so it was easy to explore the island on our days off. We definitely recommend this volunteer opportunity!

A really good stay! I would recommend going with a car as the buses are not the best, and finding ways to get to and from places on days when you’re working can be quite unfeasible.

The work is sometimes heavy going, but Russ and Steph were good at communicating and did exactly what they said they would in the listing.

Russ and Steph welcomed us on their beautiful estate. We had our own semi-outdoor bathroom and kitchen and slept in a yurt. We stayed for two weeks. We sanded and painted a canopy, reorganised a storage room and did a lot of weeding in the garden. The views are amazing, the whole area overlooks the sea. The volunteers' area is private. Steph and Russ can only host two volunteers, so it's not a group experience. Perfect for people who enjoy their own company and peace and calm.

Steph and Russel were super welcoming and polite, they respected everything that was agreed upon and provided a very comfortable space to stay and work with them.

Their place is fully equipped, organized and clean. It has incredible views and the village is also a sight to see.

This was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't be more happy to have had it here! Steph and Russ are so friendly and accommodating right from the beginning and cook great vege dinners every working night. There is so much time to explore this beautiful island and you will never run out of things to see with stunning views everywhere you go. You also get your own comfy living space and kitchen, and it's quite easy to get around with buses running every couple hours. I'll forever be grateful to Russ and Steph for this amazing experience!
